Our list to date:
This book has everything you could ask for in a story. Read it--you won't be sorry.
An amazing view of Catherine as not only a leader of Russia but as a woman in her own right. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a truly amazing version of Catherine's life.
Unbidden Magic series. I literally could not put this series down. I just had to read all 4 books from cover to cover. I felt like I'm losing a friend after I finished the 4th book. Hopefully, there are more books to come, I have so many unanswered questions.
7. Time to add another book to our growing list of beyond 5 stars books. The Doorknob Society fits the bill. It has everything to entertain, and entertain it does. Everything from magic to fantasy, growing relationships, secret powerful groups....Just read the book, you'll be glad you did!
8. The newest addition to our 'beyond 5' club. A fictional account of the life of Mary. She tells the story in her own words. Loved the book. Recommend it to anyone interested in our Blessed Mother.
9. The fictionalize life of Judas Iscariot. Only Tosca Lee would think to create a novel about the most demonized man in history. Well, she does a fantastic job. I felt for this man, pity, pain and compassion. A fantastic book and a welcome addition to our club.
10. It's been quite some time since a book struck a chord like HAND OF FIRE. The story of Briseis and the Trojan War. A fantastic book...I absolutely loved it! Upon this book I bestow my highest honor as a reader and blogger/reviewer. Entrance into the BEYOND 5 STARS CLUB.
11. I'm showing a picture of the final book in Rick Riordan's series, but the entire series is awe inspiring. This is the series that made it cool to learn more about the Greek and Roman gods/goddesses. I'm saddened that the series is over. Oh well, guess I can just start all over!
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
The Heroes of Olympus
12. Our newest entry is the trilogy by Kari Edgren.
This is a fantastic, unique tale of Celtic legends and lore. You will be entranced and captivated. The above picture is the third book in this trilogy. Get all three and read the tale, you will not be disappointed.
13. Today's entry is the best book I've read in quite some time.
I can honestly say, I haven't read a bad book by Stephanie Thornton. Each book is better than the last, but this one was fantastic!!! The best yet. I love Alexander the Great and love reading about the women who surrounded him. A book not to be missed!!!
