MY REVIEW
I've heard so many fabulous things about Julie Kagawa that I requested this book from NetGalley. I'm glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
The book focuses on a dystopian America about 60 yrs after a virus kills just about everyone. I found the book to be somewhat slow at the beginning, but I understand Ms.Kagawa is setting the groundwork for this new series.
Once we get through all the beginning introductions, the book flies!
The world created is amazing. It's both frightening and exciting. Humans live under the rule of vampires.
The main character is a young woman named Allie. You will fall in love with her. She is a strong willed individual.
This story is full of action, adventure and intrigue. There is a new spin on vampires. They are the rulers and not the hunted..I liked that!
